5 Steps to using Google Ad Words
-
To begin using Google AdWords, create a Google Ads account and sign in. Then, select “Create a new campaign” and choose the type of campaign you want to run, such as search, display, or video.
-
Next, select the keywords you want to target in your ads. Keywords are the words or phrases that people search for on Google, and they are used to trigger your ads to appear. Use the Keyword Planner tool to research and find relevant keywords for your business.
-
Set your budget and bid amount for each keyword. Your budget is the maximum amount you are willing to spend per day on your ads, and your bid is the amount you are willing to pay for each click on your ad. Use the Ad Preview and Diagnosis tool to see how your ads will appear on Google and make any necessary adjustments.
-
Create your ad copy and design your ad. Ad copy is the text that appears in your ad, and it should be relevant, compelling, and actionable. Use the AdWords Editor to create and edit your ad, and use the Ad Gallery to browse through different ad templates and formats.
-
Monitor and optimize your AdWords campaign. Once your ads are live, use the Campaigns tab to see how your ads are performing and make any necessary adjustments. Use the Keywords tab to see which keywords are performing well and add or remove keywords as needed. Use the Ad Performance tab to see how your ads are performing and make any necessary changes to improve their effectiveness.
